# SYNC231: Record sent, unrecorded

## What this means[](#what-this-means "Direct link to What this means")

Your store received this change, but this device couldn't record that it was sent.

Nothing to do — don't enter it again. WCPOS keeps re-checking, and the store ignores the repeat.

The sale or edit reached your store and was saved there. Afterwards, this device tried three times in a row to note that the change had been sent, and couldn't. So the change still looks unsent on this device, and WCPOS sends it again on the next sync. Your store recognises the change by its id and ignores the repeat, so nothing is saved twice. The only real risk is someone typing the sale or edit in again by hand: that creates a second, separate copy.

## Your data[](#your-data "Direct link to Your data")

Nothing is lost. Your store already has the change. Until a re-send is recorded on this device, it may still be counted as waiting to send.

## Troubleshoot[](#troubleshoot "Direct link to Troubleshoot")

1. Don't enter the sale or edit again by hand — the store already has it, and a second entry creates a duplicate.
2. To confirm a sale reached the store, check **WooCommerce → Orders** in WP Admin. It also shows in WCPOS, because it is saved on this device.
3. Leave WCPOS to sync. The next re-send is ignored by the store and normally clears the entry; **changes waiting to send** in the **Store health → Logs** header goes down once it does.
4. If this keeps appearing, the device may be having trouble saving to its own storage — check its free storage, then tap **Copy debug info** on the **Logs** tab and contact support. Don't clear this device's data to fix it.
